This is the way I see the little mermaid: she's holding a seashell, trying to ear the ocean while she's at the bottom of it. Not seeing what she has and wanting something that is not worth it. I think I sometimes, identify myself to her! lol

As reference, I looked at a picture of myself, and for the face, the actress Kristin Kreuk.

This is the first painting of a serie on fairytales. The child in me have always find them very inspiring. It was made on photoshop, as always. I finally risked drawing something else than just a face. It was pretty exciting I can't wait to start the next one...

Another one of my daily "quicks". Obviously, she's a vampire. I'm having less and less trouble with the eyes, which was frustrating before, because I think they are the most important part of a face.

I painted this picture for practice. It's the first time I try to do "realistic" hair on photoshop. I wanted to paint quickly, so I could improve and work on something new. I might do some touch-ups later, but for now, I've allready seen too much of it. I need some perspective.
